Magnetic Work Light

These are a great piece of kit. I’ve got three now which is nearly enough😁

I have been looking for a magnetic light for some time to replace a number of lights I have bought over the years which were not very successful.
I bought this light when on special offer From Rutlands. I find this light
great no trailing leads to worry about I can move it easily to different machines and many other situations with any hassle.
This is by far the best magnetic work light I have bought and would recommend it'

I have several LED lights with magnetic bases that I have obtained over the years to try to cast light in those awkward spaces. Fine if you are working close to something they can attach to which allows the light to shine (hands free) exactly where it's needed.
Several of these previous purchases have built-in batteries. Ideal you think until they run out just when you need them and then have to wait for the recharge before continuing working.
This setup resolves all my previous problems.
The additional auxiliary bases give me the ability to place the light anywhere I need it with the flexible neck allowing it to be adjusted to provide hands free light in exactly the right spot. By having separate batteries I can quickly get back to work and as I already use rechargeable batteries I avoid adding to solution levels by using disposables.
Overall an excellent addition to both workshop and toolbox representing very good value for the money.

A powerful lamp with lots of ways to adapt it to various locations on the bench or machinery. The magnet in the base is strong so it doesn’t budge from the chosen position. It has two light settings which is useful. Much better than a previous lamp I bought which had a weak magnet and none of the other adaptations for securing that this one has. I’m very pleased with this product.

With both a magnetic base plus two bases that can be installed via wood or machine screw this lamp can be used in a multitude of locations and does not require metal to fix too thanks to the two additional bases. I use it both on my lathe and bandsaw. It's versatile and very well made.
