FULL DESCRIPTION
Only when you have actually used rare-earth magnets, will you appreciate their strength. Rare earth magnets are strong permanent magnets made from alloys of rare earth elements and they are the strongest type of permanent magnets made. They produce significantly stronger magnetic fields than other types such as ferrite or alnico magnets. Only people with extremely strong hands and fingers will be able to pull apart any of these magnets unaided.

Woodworkers find them excellent for use as catches on cabinet doors, boxes and cupboards and for holding keys or wrenches to machines in the workshop, plus they can be mounted with almost any glue. They are also perfect as fridge magnets that will stay put no matter what.

Repair to a ratchet driver

Needed to repair a ratchet driver. With a bit of epoxy to stick the magnet down the bit holder now holds the bits and sockets very well. Cheaper than a new ratchet driver and still lots left for future things

This is the second time I have purchased these magnets on behalf of my local wood turning club. They sold like hot cakes and I was requested to place a further order.

The magnets were much smaller than I expected...

The magnets were much smaller than I expected. Having said that, they are incredibly strong, even the smallest ones. In fact, trying to remove the larger ones from the stack is nearly impossible. I have no idea what I'm going to use them for but I'm glad Ive now got them.

Bought these for a vanity unit plinth, wanted it to be removable for service valves. Seams every time you pull plinths off the plastic clips snap. Worked like a dream can access pipes under unit. Also used on Router motor cover for easy access to speed control. Handy to have in your tool box extremely strong good variation of sizes endless uses and top quality from Rutlands again.
