Round Trimming Base

Usual Rutlands quality and delivery time. Perfect compliment to the precision router. Make trimming and other tasks easier especially when used with a clamp as the round base always ensures an even distance to cutting edge. Small enough to be used one handed and the view to the cutting line is better. Wish I had purchased it sooner!

Very easy to fit to router body. Makes router much easier to handle when trimming edges.Also - being round this base makes it easy to set up a clamp cutting guide (eg R3150) for routing rebates and channels, as the edge of the cutter is always the same distance from the edge of the base.

Good router base. Very useful because it's round and you can follow some templates with it. There is no thread on inside, as in description. The router slides in and locks after setting the depth with the toothed wheel provided. It's exactly the same system as on the Makita rt0700, 3709 and 3710 which I own and tried with it. Good value for the price. Highly recommended.
