Designed for use with sprung hinges, this is the ideal way to retro fit a soft close mechanism to any cupboard or cabinet. Requiring a 10mm diameter hole drilled to a depth of 50mm, this little device is easy to install and is fitted on the same side of the cabinet as the hinges. Containing a cylinder of viscous liquid which acts as a braking system for the door, this soft close mechanism prevents the door from slamming shut no matter how much force is used.
