Newell Post Connector - 300mm

This sturdy fastener is designed to give a solid connection between newel post and floor. Specially created for this application, this connector pulls the post down to the floor with the minimum of effort needed by the user but gives an incredibly strong anchor. The nut on the connector houses a gearing system allowing the screw body to be turned by an 6mm hex bit.
For extra speed, a power drill may be used on a low torque setting. The nut requires a 35mm diameter hole bored to a depth of at least 30mm and the screw requires a 12mm hole. This is an extremely fast and reliable method of installing newel posts. ©
