With a working surface measuring 1260mm long by 500mm wide this mid-size bench is ideal for cabinetmakers and home woodworkers. Made from kiln dried solid oak the work surface is extremely durable and will absorb the knocks and bangs associated with a busy workshop. A full length tool well allows for commonly used tools to be readily available to hand without cluttering up the work surface.
A series of holes bored into the top accept the bench dogs for gripping large work pieces flat to the solid oak surface. The vice operates on a quick action metal threaded bar and measures 250mm in width with a opening capacity of 200mm. The main frame of the bench is made from substantial sections of solid Ash and has a large footprint to ensure stability.
Standing 840mm tall this woodworker's bench comes as shown with 4 oak fronted sliding drawers and a large oak fronted cupboard. The drawers run on steel rails and the cupboard is perfect for housing commonly used power tools such as the router. The front legs have a series of holes to accept work support pegs when clamping long boards in the vice. Workbench weight 45KG.
A very well made and easy to assemble bench, sturdy and excellent value. It's almost good enough for the living room.

This bench has proved invaluable in my small workshop. I have made dividers for the drawers so that I can store and protect all my sharp edged tools such as chisels and plane blades away from my general non delicate tools. The main top shelf is perfect for storing router cutters. I simply drilled a series of 1/4' & 1/2' holes to suit the cutter shank diameters into an MDF board and then placed the board on the shelf. So now when i need a cuuter i simply pull out the board. Rutlands state 1 hour assembly but you can comfortably do it in less than half an hour. I really can recommend this bench.
