• Professional hydraulic trolley jack that complies to stringent CE, GS and TUV regulations

• Carry handle for convenient transportation
Made from a heavy duty steel construction, this hydraulic trolley jack has a 2 ton lifting capacity and complies to stringent GS, CE and TUV standards. Compact in size and featuring an inbuilt carry handle, this jack is commonly stored in the boot of a car for easy wheel change following a puncture.
The jack has a 130mm minimum working height and a maximum working height when fully extended of 330mm. Extremely stable in use, the jack features swivel rear castors to provide smooth manoeuvring and positioning. A built in safety valve protects against the jack overloading and the yellow swivel saddle allows you to accurately position the lifting arm. To raise the arm simply insert the handle and move up and down, and to lower the arm simply position the handle on the release valve and turn anti-clockwise. The arm will then lower gradually to its original position.
Excellent trolley jack and very compact. Can lift it with one hand and it takes up little space in the boot. I agree with the other review - why can't car companies supply decent jacks as standard. Then again I don't suppose Rutlands would want them to do so!

There seems to be a common theme here that people buy proper trolley jacks after having a puncture and attempting to use one supplied with the car. Why can car companies supplied jacks of this quality. If Rutlands can sell them for £30 surely the car manufacturers can afford to supply a decent jack. Any way moan over - but I can say buy this jack as its money well spent and will save you a lot of struggling when you do have a puncture. Just ordered a second one for the wife's car.

Had a puncture last week on a hill on a busy road! Promised I would buy a proper jack after using the one supplied with my vehicle. This one arrived yesterday and is excellent. So much faster to use than the scissor jack and feels much more stable and safe. At £30 a bargain.

When it arrived this morning I was impressed straight away. very nicely finished, no rough edges. Handle slots in without tools and a few ups and downs raises the jack with ease. Tried it under the car and it worked a treat. Great buy.

I bought a new Discovery Sport last year and the supplied trolley jack is next to useless. It took an age to raise or lower. Bought this one to be permanently in the boot and it looks great. Very solid and well made, it takes seconds to pump up and seconds to lower. It will prove invaluable when the time arrives.
