Clamps are an essential part of woodworking, but can often get in the way when routing edges or sanding surfaces. These two-in-one TriGrips not only offer you the perfect non-slip, unobtrusive way of holding your work to the bench, they are also designed to be the perfect workpiece support when painting and finishing. Featuring a specially developed high friction, non-slip, non-marring foam on three faces, these TriGrips will hold any material such as wood, metal or plastic firmly in position on your workbench while you rout, cut, plane, sand, polish or perform any other activity on it.

The tough plastic body is hard and will not deform under load. At the core, TriGrips have a free moving ballast which gives them greater stability by moving the centre of gravity to suit the position they are being used in. Their distinctive triangular shape allows them to fit together seamlessly for supporting larger work pieces. Built into this triangular shape is a conical point allowing you to use the TriGrips as supports when painting, lacquering and applying other finishes and stains to a work piece.

We are certain these highly practical TriGrips will soon become a workshop favourite, not only offering great clamping ability but also acting as a much needed second pair of hands in the workshop.

These little trigrips are sturdy and the rubber is well stuck on. They worked a treat as bench-cookies, though they are less stable as painter's pyramid replacement and may tip over on not completely even surfaces. But for the price I bought them (£20?), it's hard to fault them. Paint and finish brushed off fine without damaging the rubber coating.

These TriGrips are a steal for the money. The grip the work piece very securely, even on a varnished workbench. Routing or sanding on them is a breeze without having to clamp your work piece down. I can highly recommend these for anyone not already owning some kind of bench dog.

Very convenient multi-purpose work support. I was going to make a storage unit, as per the ukworkshop video, but remembered I had an old octagonal shaped 'Quality Street' tin kicking about in the workshop. Perfect....it will take 16 but I ordered the 12 pack so use the plastic air bags they were delivered in to take up the slack of the unused spaces in the tin.

Ifound these trigrips to be excellent value. A little dubious upon ordering that they woud grip, but they do, very well. Just the job when painting or varnishing without having to keep repositioning the workpiece. Arrived very quickly, would certainly recommend.

I agree with previous reviews, but found storing them a potential problem, which I solved as described on the ukworkshop forums (search for Tri Grips)

I was a bit nervous at first when routing a draw front without clamping the work piece down. I have to say they worked flawlessly. I had all round access and did not have to lift the router off the draw front so the route was continuous and left no stop start mark. Highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised at how stable these trigrips are when stood up on end and how grippy the rubber surfaces are. Fantastic for finishing.

These make much more sense to me than the round bench cookies. You can sit these under the wood and they'll support the corners without protruding, the round ones don't. The round ones stick out which isn't helpful when I'm routing edges. Definitely one of my favourite workshop accessories; I wouldn't be without them.
