This new bandsaw is designed for accurate sawing of hard and soft woods up to 90mm in depth. The two band wheels are made from die cast aluminium and are machined and balanced for concentricity, resulting in a precise, straight sawing performance. Two brushes clean the band wheels as they rotate to prevent dust from being trapped between the blade and the band wheel.

The rigid body construction allows for high blade tension which again improves accuracy. The bandsaw blade guide system features three ball-race roller bearings that prevent the blade from wandering side to side or backward at the point of cut. The cast table is again machined for accuracy and the rip fence locks at both the front and rear of the table via the single locking lever. The 300 watt induction motor is extremely quiet in operation. Both upper and lower doors are fitted with a micro switch which prevents the bandsaw from running if either door is opened.

This is a high build quality bandsaw that is designed for hobbyist and small workshop use that will accurately saw hard and softwoods. Supplied with a mitre gauge, LED worklight, no volt release switch, general purpose blade, easy to use tracking and tensioning mechanism and a handy storage drawer. Highly recommended.

Like the other reviewers say this is an excellent bandsaw that is very simple to use, easy to adjust and well made and finished. I would buy again.

This is a class above any other bandsaw in the same price range. It took me less than 10 minutes to assemble. You bolt on the rubber feet, attach the table in the rack and pinion tilt arm and add the fence. Mine appeared to already be tracked so the blade ran smoothly straight from the box. I have added a little more tension as I mainly work with hardwoods. Only down side is that the flexishaft on the light does not always hold in position, so I have strapped it in place. Would I recommend - without doubt.

I am extremely impressed with the build quality, functionality and overall performance of this little beauty. The minute you open the box and remove the protective shell the quality oozes out. The wheels run true, the blade cuts true and it looks great. Very, very happy.

I purchased this band saw for preparation of wood blanks for woodturning. I turn quite a number of bowls mainly from hardwoods and I needed a band saw that had the power to rough cut circular blanks from 3" thick wood. I chose this band saw because of the bearing guide system. It has a triple roller bearing below the table and a double roller bearing with a block above the table. This prevents the blade from wandering when I am pushing heavy blanks through and leaves a decent cut. The build quality and finish is very good for a machine of this price and the wheels run true as far as my eye can see. Overall I am please with my purchase and I would recommend. The instructions are not the greatest but then most of the set up is common sense.
