This premium quality, floor standing router table comes with a laminated worktop, full length fence, legstand and an insert plate to use with all industry standard routers. To enhance the router table there are a number of optional purpose designed attachments, as seen below, including the Xact Router Lift, Xact Router Motor, Xact Feather Board Kit and the Xact No Volt Release Switch.
With its generously sized worktop measuring 800mm x 600mm the RTX2000 Xact Router Table offers more table room and therefore more work piece support, than most other router tables. The table top is laminated on both faces to allow the work piece to glide back and forth, sandwiched between a core of 35mm thick highly pressurised MDF, preventing the table from bowing even under the weight of the heaviest of routers. A hardened 3/4" T Track running the full length of the table will accept all industry standard featherboards and mitre gauges.
The table is supplied with a solid phenolic insert plate measuring 305mm x 230mm, which can be drilled to suit any router base and it comes complete with two snap in insert rings and a lead on pin. The aperture in the insert plate will accept a maximum 100mm diameter bit, perfect for raised field panel cutters. Rare earth magnets sited on both the plate and table hold the insert plate firm preventing it from lifting in use. To change the cutter simply lift the router and plate out of the table, it could not be easier.
The aluminium fence locks rigidly to the table and has 120mm tall wooden sub fences that can be adjusted to accommodate the diameter of router bit being used. The sub fence features a 1/2" T Track for the fitting of vertical featherboards and hold downs. The 65mm dust extraction port allows waste to be removed at source giving a better finish to the work. A heavy gauge steel stand provides the support for this system and, recently redesigned, this stand has splayed legs and is pre-drilled to accept the optional Xact Router Lift handle. This router table has a working height of 870mm.
Firstly, let me say that Rutlands is an excellent company to deal with and this router table is certainly value for money HOWEVER it isn't as simple to set up as it may seem. The instructions are the worst I have ever seen and the drilled holes are often in the wrong place. MY ADVICE is to ignore the stand setup instructions and start with the router top face down on a soft surface. Then connect the two 560 ish mm angle pieces to the underside of the top and work from there. The holes on my 560 ish pieces were 19mm out of line so I had to extend the holes. Then build the stand but only hand tighten the nuts and bolts until it is finished. The phenolic insert is not the best but it will do the job although you will have to drill it to attach your router. The sliding fence parts are connected using bolts and knobs. The bolt heads do not slide easily through the channels so you would be better off buying separate jig parts. The wheels suggested are not brilliant - the idea is but you don't get a lot of lift and the ball feet seem to be some sort of plastic. I still like the table and would buy it again but I have put my own insert into the top; am changing the fence connectors and have fitted my own switch. Again no complaints about Rutlands but better instructions would be a great help.

I have this table and not the 'professional' version. Despite looking a little flimsy it is not. The splayed legs give good stability with the larger jobs that this table is capable handling with ease. Used with the limitation of standard cutters, I have found it every bit as good as a very much more expensive spindle moulder. With care and extra support, I have moulded long lengths of English Oak (6 to 8' long) as well as a range of softwoods. With its accessories of motor, rise and fall etc. It is a serious bit of kit at a very competitive price. With an appropriate adaptor to enable spindle moulder cutters to be used, it is very affordable. Want a test site, you have only to ask!!?

I bought this table about 5 years ago, and at virtually the same £99 as advertised today. It is an excellent piece of kit and I can heartily recommend it. At the price it is unbeatable.

Once again, Rutlands have produced a well-engineered, solid, precision piece of kit for serious woodworkers at an excellent price. A sturdy table, a very rigid alloy right angle to support the strong and solid routing fences. Delivered to SW France in 2 days at modest cost.
I would advise buying the external no volts switch that fits on the LH front leg. If you need to kill the power in an emergency, you simply don't have time to reach the on/off switch on your router. I transferred one from an old table.
However, I yet again have very serious reservations about the instructions, which I can only describe as dire. Badly printed and so small as to be illegible even with a powerful magnifying glass. I wasted about 45 minutes working out what fitted where. Please, someone at HQ, read these reviews and take action on these instructions.
I also had problems with the 4 rare earth magnets that hold the phenolic plate. Two appeared to be missing and only when I fingertip searched the packaging did I find them stuck together either side of a piece of wrapping. The magnets are not glued into the table and when lifting the phenolic plate, it is too easy to knock one or more off, which promptly roll across the workshop floor.
I have boxed in my support frame on 3 sides to make a cupboard for all the various bits, spanners etc.
I remain a committed fan, but I would like to see action on the points I have made.

Received the router table within 24 hours of ordering, if you liked meccano when you were younger, you will love bolting this together.... very solid top, very stable, best feature, the cutout on the top is exactly the same size as a Trend CRT/MK3 Insert plate (by accident or design ?) and so my Trend T11EK fitted straight in and and no drilling necessary to use the overhead adjuster.....The grub screws to level the plate supplied also fit the Trend plate
the only minor niggle is the adhesive for the measuring tape on either side is peeling off after a week, other than that very good value for money. fitted it to a mobile trolley and away we go....

I looked at a lot of router tables and this one seemed the best for what I needed and it was really well priced, so I was willing to wait for more stock.
When it was delivered today, I was surprised at the weight.
For the price, I was expecting it to be really light but it's not! (it's heavier than my table saw!)
The legs are solid and the table top is made from thick solid MDF.
The fence and fence support are also very well made.
- Nice and heavy.
- Great table for £99 (I bought the "Feather Board Super Kit" separately which worked out £5 cheaper than buying the kit with them together)
- The router insert plate is well made
- The "User Guide" is awful. The 2 images are very small so you can't see what part goes where and the text isn't very helpful either.
I found myself having to just try and hope for the best!
- When trying to move the fence. the bolts often get caught so you have to fiddle around to get it to move.
- The tape measures on either side of the table are sticky back strips you have to place on.
The first time I put them on, they came unstuck after a few minutes... I've put them back on and clamped some wood over them to see if that will help.
- The rubber feet aren't very good. They don't seem to be made to match the bottom profile of the legs so the weight of the table is whats holding them in place.
- This isn't an "issue" but I would have liked to see edge banding on the fence to make it look tidy and protect the edges.
Overall I am happy with the table and I'm looking forward to using it (when I get some bolts to fit the router with)

Good price (I paid a bit more with delivery to N Ireland). The only problem I have found with the table is that the insert plate is concave around the centre, probably due to the weight of the attached router. This pretty much renders the table useless for my needs (I do pickguards for guitars and the angle of the bevel gets messed up). I've found a steel plate to replace it but the £100 cost will destroy the value aspect of the table. Ho hum. Great price if you get a good one.

This is the best value piece of woodworking kit I've come across. The frame is very solid and well up to the job. The top is rigid and accurately machined...the fence moves easily etc. The insert also is very rigid and easily removable. Great product...really impressed.

Excellent product. At first, I was considering sending this back when I unpacked it. I wasn't sure about the quality of the table. I starting assembling it, and once finished, was really impressed with it. I just had to remove the base plate from my router, use it as a template to drill and countersink 5 holes. I had some longer screws , so I could easily fit the router under the table. The insert plate does have a slight hump in the centre, but it is designed this way so the weight of the router pulls it flat. The fence needed some very slight adjustment, and I must say I am delighted with this table. To be honest I'll probably leave my router permanently attached to it. Already had great fun making jigs for box joints and dovetail joints. Superb product and price.

The router table itself is a superb piece of equipment and extremely good value for money. Solid and accurate table, fence and other bits. Delivery was amazingly cheap and next day. Highly recommended. If I have a criticism it is of the metal legs. There are difficult to assemble and once on you wouldn't want to take them off again. This limits the portability of the table. However, if it's a fixture in your workshop then the legs are fine.

Have just received and assembled this table. The instructions are not brilliant but assembly was fairly straight forward and quality is surprisingly good. By the time you have bought the feather boards it is not the cheapest but I think anyone should be pleased with it and it's a useful addition to my modest workshop

Absolutely great piece of kit for the money, no problems drilling the plate for the router, I can't comment on the stand as mine was fitted to my router cabinet.
For the money, a cracking bit of kit.

This is just great quality for the cost ! Its solid, nicely finished, and comes as a nice complete package. I didnt use the supplied legs but instead mounted mine to a kitchen cabinet carcass for a boxed in solution to dust control. Couldnt be happier, and you will be too if you choose to buy one.

Very pleased with this table, the new splayed legs make it very sturdy and the top is solid and flat. The original insert plate wasn't quite flush, contacted customer services who replaced it without a quibble and it easily takes the weight of my Trend T11. Well done for your excellent response. Will definitely order from Rutlands again.
Very pleased with the table, Excellent value for money and well made. The base is very stable and the fence true, and all very easy to assemble. All I need now is a router! Delivery also excellent - about 24hrs.
Ordered the table on Sunday it arrived on Tuesday with no hitch. For the price it is very well made simple to install and excellent value for money.

A solid and very well built table, not the usually shoddy asian workmanship we normally get. Every part of the table has that high quality feel about it. Top marks to Rutlands, I ordered it on Tuesday lunch and it was in my workshop 19 hours later, ready for my wife to assemble :). A 5 star service.

At this price very good value for money. Compelling rigidity, particularly the fence which is a massive chunk of duralumin angle supporting the laminated MDF fences. As others say it is easy to change cutters by simply lifting the insert and attached router out of the table. I have just made two 6' wide pilasters, each with five stopped flutes and, because of their overall length, each had to be made of two pieces; such is the stability of the table and accuracy of the fence that the flutes of one piece aligned perfectly with those of the other. My only criticism - and it is minor - is that the thickness of the applied yellow measures can hinder the movement of the timber past the cutter head. I plan to replace them with recessed metal measures in due course. First rate bit of kit.
I bought this router table to use with large raised panel cutters for making new door fronts for our kitchen. My old Trend table was too small and did not have the stability to work with large cutters. This table is excellent as the top is large enough to support the doors without me supporting them. Changing cutter height is easy as you simply lift the plate and router out in one go and you have immediate access to the collet. I have added a shelf to the stand and boxed it in on three sides and added two doors to the front. Looks the dogs b****cks.
I am impressed with the table. It was very well packaged, easy to assemble, and there were no missing parts. I really like the fact that to change cutters all you do is lift the plate and router out of the table. So much quicker than my old table where I had to crawl on my hands and knees. The table is a really good size and the steel fence does not creep under heavy pressure.
