This nailer fires 2.8mm & 3.1mm diameter ring shank, D head nails from 2" to 31/2" in length. It is designed for first fix applications such as fixing studded walls, joists, roofing framework, decking, flooring and fencing. Weighing only 3.4kg it is one of the lightest framing nailers on the market yet has immense power and it is very well balanced to minimise fatigue when working overhead. The tip of the gun has spikes that grip into the timber or you can simply add the supplied no mar foot when working on revealed surfaces such as decking and flooring. It features a convex tip firing pin, which minimises surface contact with the nail head , greatly improving and increasing the pressure exerted on to the nail head. The enlarged air chamber ensures extremely high levels of firing power, ideal for nailing in to hardwoods, softwoods & composite materials. A new depth adjustment device allows for the nails to be driven to a consistent and controllable depth for perfect countersinking. This is a premium build quality framing nailer that comes complete with a purpose made carry case and a 5 year parts warranty. Highly recommended by Rutlands Ltd. ©

The power is awesome, Pinning 4" by 2" together for studding, with one click of the trigger i missed my middle finger by 1/4".
Don't be afraid though, just realise what you are dealing with. A 3 1/2" nail is nothing to this machine, infact if you don't get your finger off the trigger fast you'll put two in instead of one. Whats great though, is when nailing Soffits etc at max reach, because the machine and airline are so light you can reach distances (safely) which wouldn't be possible with a hammer and nails. In 18 months i've never had a nail jam.Highly recommended. BTW unless you are laying decking all day long, the 6ltr compressor is more than good enough too.

this nail gun packs loads of power when nailing 4"by2" with 3 1/2" nails and is light enough to use all day. The bump action on the trigger is a good facility when nailing boards on flat roofs but be carfull because if you dont lift the point back up fast enough you can end you putting more than one nail in. Overall a very good nail gun

after looking on the web for a few weeks for a framing nailer i was pleased i came across the dokota nailer, the price and build of the tool is excellent. And using it is a pleasure due to it's power, no problem driving in 90mm nails
