Setting up featherboards accurately can be a pain and we often find that initial set up takes longer than the actual routing or sawing job. The problem with any featherboard is that one set of bolts controls the height and the lateral position meaning you cannot successfully alter one without changing the other. So imagine a featherboard that has independently adjustable height and position and think of all the time you will save. That thought just became reality with the new Jessem Paralign featherboards. Featuring two bolts to control position, this featherboard has a further two bolts to control height and adjusting one position will not effect the setting of the other. The special design of the body ensures the featherboard stays parallel to the wood giving a consistent clamping pressure across the work piece. Unlike other plastic featherboards, these high impact moulded plastic featherboards have no moulding lines leaving the feather tips extremely smooth so they will not mark the work. Available individually or as a set of two, the single featherboards come supplied with both a 3/4" mitre bar and a 1/4" T-track bar for use on either a table top or a fence. The double pack is supplied with two featherboards, two 3/4" mitre bars, two 1/4" bars for T-track and a set of extra long bolts to allow the featherboards to be stacked for clamping tall work pieces. Good to see that Jessem are using their skills in making router table accessories. The paralign feather boards are brilliant. You can even turn the feather part the other way to give the feather board a longer reach.
