Specially designed for use with the Festool TS55 circular saw, this high performance saw blade will make fine flawless cuts and is ideal for cutting and trimming flooring as well as cutting hardwoods and softwoods. The blade body is laser cut from German cold rolled steel and features precision cut expansion slots that prevent the blade from bending or warping should it get warm with use. For extra efficiency, the blade features a tough teflon coating which makes the passage through the material easier and prevents pitch and resin build up on the blade. Made from premium quality micrograin tungsten carbide, the teeth are attached to the body with German silver - copper - silver brazing. This makes the joint between tooth and body slightly elastic allowing the tooth to absorb an impact such as hitting a knot without breaking off. With their alternate bevel formation, these teeth are sharpened on the top, sides and face for precision cutting with an exceptionally fine finish. This is a truly exceptional blade. ©
