Designed for use on static machines such as mitre saws and saw benches, these high performance saw blades offer incredibly fine finish cutting. Produced from German cold rolled steel, the blade bodies are laser cut to ensure a flat blade and computer balanced for true running. Laser cut expansion slots prevent noise and stop the blade from flexing through heat build up. A thick teflon coating prevents pitch and resin deposits sticking to the blades giving them a much longer service life. Micrograin tungsten carbide teeth retain their sharp edges much longer and are sharpened on the top, face and sides for exceptionally fine cutting that is feather and splinter free. These teeth are attached to the blade bodies using German silver - copper - silver brazing. This gives a joint that is slightly elastic rather than brittle and will absorb any sudden knocks preventing the tooth from breaking away. An ideal upgrade to any static saw, these blades will perform flawless ripping and cross cuts in both hardwoods and softwoods. Highly recommended. ©

I found this blade quieter than the one it replaced, both idling and under load. It cuts using less motor power and leaves a very fine finish - nearly as good as a plane. I tried it on pine (both rip and crosscut) and on oak, on plywood and on MDF. Excellent results on all. I don't know if it will last but it certainly works straight out of the box.
