This jig enables the user to cut tenons, dadoes and grooves in wood on a suitable table saw. The angles on both the stop and fence can be adjusted for the cutting of compound tenons which are popular when making chairs and other furniture. Pre-mounted on a slider bar, the Dakota tenoning jig can be used on any 3/4" wide x 3/8" deep mitre track or if your saw does not have the correct sized track, you can replace the jig's mitre bar with the bar from your saw's mitre gauge. If this is not an option, the slider can be removed entirely and the jig held against the saw's mitre fence. The tenoning jig has a built in clamp to keep the wood secure during cutting and an oversized handle gives the user full control of the jig for smooth movement over the table. This highly useful workshop accessory is supplied with full instructions. Warning: This jig should only be used with suitable tablesaws. Please refer to your table saw's manual for further information. All tablesaw safety features and guards must be kept in place and in good working order during the use of this jig. ©

Am very impressed - it's probably better than Norm's. Easy to adjust, rock solid, holds its settings, built like a brick outhouse.
Needs modification for Jet Supersaw (possibly others) - but easy and well worth it. Slider bar needs moving - simply drill two extra fixing holes in the baseplate to move the whole jig about 2 inches closer to the blade. (Drill one hole, attach the slider fairly tightly, fit to the saw and adjust for precisely parallel travel, carefully slide off the saw without moving the slider bar, mark and drill the second hole.)
Can highly recommend it - much safer than home made kit, and you'll get dead easy, accurate tenons every time.
Move over Norm!

Rock solid, built like a Russian tank. I have a smaller slot but was able to replace the slider easily. Instead of drilling and moving the bar, there are screw holes so you can add your own faceplate. I used 20mm MDF and it works perfectly. Brilliant bit of kit at a terrific price.

Well I am impressed. Nearly every part of this wieghty jig is metal. The only plastic that I have seen is in the two handles you push with, even the clamp wheel is metal.
Everything is covered with a good layer of preserving grease when it arrives and well packaged. Follows the same main design as all the other tenoning jigs for a table saw but at the sale price is a bargain... anyway I'm off to make some tenons just for the hell of it now :-)

Agree with Dave. Easy to set up - mine had to be 'adjusted' to allow for 90 degrees - and easily converted. I use mine on a Kitty 619. Simply replaced the bar with a spare from the Kitty mitre gauge plus two packing washers.
