Designed to give extra support when turning long spindles for stair parts, standard lamps or show pieces, this centre steady prevents the middle of the work from sagging whilst turning. Constructed from cast iron, this steady will fit most flat bed lathes with a centre height of 6 - 8". It has three adjustable ball bearing rollers which support the work during turning without damaging it. This centre steady is drilled and can be fixed to the lathe bed during use or extra stability. ©
