Used in conjunction with your sander's mitre gauge, this jig allows you to accurately square up the ends of pen blanks using your disc sander. The pre-drilled pen blank fits over the jig's mandrel and the jig is held against the mitre fence set perpendicularly to the sanding disc. The blank is then introduced to the sanding disc. An ideal way to trim pen blanks to the correct size as this jig also ensures that the resultant surface is square to the pen tube inserts. A very handy time saving device for all pen makers. ©
