Powered by a quiet running 2800W high torque induction motor this professional quality spindle moulder requires a 16A supply. A spindle diameter of 30mm and a maximum tooling diameter of 200mm makes this machine incredibly versatile with the ability to produce fine mouldings as well as shaping and tenoning much larger pieces. Four spindle speeds of 1800, 3000, 6000 and 9000rpm ensure that the spinde is always running at the correct speed for the diameter of tooling. The spindle has a full 100mm of travel and can also be tilted to anywhere between -10 and +30 degrees for angled mouldings. Both spindle height and angle are controlled using the side mounted handles and a the speed of the cutter is clearly indicated by the light display on the side also. On the 1800rpm setting, this machine may also be used for sanding. The solid construction of this spindle moulder is topped off with a generously sized 640mm x 710mm cast iron table which has been precision ground and polished to be flat and smooth for near friction free timber passage. The tall aluminium fence offers excellent support to even the tallest of pieces and has an independently adjustable outfeed fence to compensate for the thickness differential when jointing. Overhead rubber guide rollers keep the work on track and prevent kick back. At the rear of the fence is a large dust cowl with 100mm port allowing fast and efficient waste removal at source. For end grain and tenoning work, a sliding carriage is available separately.
