This high volume, low pressure (HVLP) spray gun allows for all popular coatings to be sprayed including stains, lacquers, varnishes, enamels, primers, emulsion and acrylics, although some may need to be thinned before use. HVLP spray guns use a compressor to supply the air, but the spray gun only requires low pressure. A higher volume of air is used to aerosolize and propel the paint at lower air pressure. The result of which is that is a higher proportion of paint reaches the target surface with reduced overspray, less material consumption, and reduced air pollution. The low pressure allows you to lay the paint on rather than blasting it on for a softer, easier application of the spray, resulting in a superior finish. This spray gun comes with a regulator and gauge so that the air pressure from a conventional compressor can be lowered for the HVLP spray gun. The spray gun operates at a working pressure of 2 to 3 bar and would typically require a compressor of 2.2kw or above with a minimum 24 litre capacity.
Precision Engineered
This spray gun comes with three precision machined stainless-steel nozzle and needle sets, 1.4mm, 1.7mm and 2.0mm, suitable for use with all clear coats, base coats and primers. The nozzles are secured by the air cap set which is precision machined from solid brass. The spray gun features three adjustment knobs to ensure the very highest quality of workpiece finish. To adjust the paint flow, according to the paint being used or the spray pattern required the knob at the rear of the gun is used. To adjust the spray pattern from a fan shaped pattern to a circular pattern the knob on the side of the gun is used and to control the air flow the knob at the bottom of the gun is used, as typically thicker paints require more air. Light weight and easy to control this 600ml gravity fed gun is ideal for spraying large workpieces yet has a compact body for fine furniture projects such as spraying the inside of cabinets and drawers. The gun body is CNC machined to aircraft tolerances and the easy pull trigger results in less fatigue.
This is a premium quality, premium performance HVLP spray gun which is supplied with an aluminium case, 1.4mm, 1.7mm and 2.0mm stainless steel nozzles and needles, 600ml cup, air regulator with gauge, 2 x cleaning brushes, 1/4" BSP fitting, spanner and filter. ©
