These are exceptional parallel jaw clamps that can exert up to 5000N of pressure and address the common frustration of jaw slippage. No matter how much pressure you exert their anti-slip mechanism prevents the jaw from sliding backward.

The parallel jaws maintain the squareness of the object being clamped and the large surface area of the jaws equally distributes force eliminating the crushing of timber fibres. The extra large jaws allow for the use of fewer clamps and are extremely beneficial when clamping large, flat workpieces. The jaws are made from cast steel and are encased in no mar and glue resistant polypropoleyne.

The 30mm wide bar is made from I section C45 hardened steel to prevent the clamp from bending or flexing under load. A foot at the non working end of the bar allows for the clamp to stand upright un-aided making it ideal for clamping flat panels. The large acme screw thread ensures maximum clamping pressure is achieved with the minimum number of turns of the handle.
