Product Details

A tenoning jig makes light work of producing tenons, dadoes and grooves in wood when used on a suitable table saw. The back stop can be set anywhere between 90 and 45 degrees and the rest anywhere between 90 and 30 degrees letting you produce standard, mitre and compound mitre tenons for furniture production.

Capable of holding wood up to 77mm thick, this tenoning jig has a solid cast base making it incredibly sturdy in use. Underneath the jig, a 3/4" wide x 3/8" deep slider bar engages with the mitre track on the table saw to give perfectly parallel working. Large handles and screw threads give you firm, secure clamping of the work piece. This is a highly useful workshop accessory and is supplied with full instructions.

Warning: This jig should only be used with suitable table saws. Please refer to your table saw's manual for further information. All table saw safety features and guards must be kept in place and in good working order during the use of this jig.

Large socket screw missing and one of the plastic securing arms is broken. Despite this it seems fairly accurate and reasonable quality for the price.

Nick Porter (Joiner)

Using it with startrite 1250TA table saw, it is a great bit of kit. Really sturdy, easy and quick setup. Just used for tenons for 8 sash windows and it has saved me a whole load of time. 5 stars.

Received next working day of placing order and I must say I am quite impressed, especially as it came with two slide bars. But sorry say it's not in use yet, bought it because the price was write ready for when I buy a new table saw.

Received within two days of placing order and I must say I am quite impressed, especially as it came with two slide bars as my Wadkin has the older 1/4 x 3/4" slot and this bar was already fitted to the unit.Very easy to set up and use and excellent results!

Tolerances are wide (to aid manufacturing?), with some compensation using adjustments. I needed to add washers to the mitre piece to fit my workshop saw (Makita). The workpiece clamp catches on the black bracket used to hold the workpiece upright (again weak tolerancing).

Despite this it works well. Holds the wood firmly and has an adjustment system that works - but ensure you practise adjustment! Very easy to get wrong. A real cost effective addition to the workshop.

heavy duty ,sits on table flat, easy to set up and use, at this price its well worth it,

I had to have the mitre bar ground down to 15.9mm wide (1.5mm off each side to keep the mounting holes centred) to fit my older Axminster table saw. Also needed to grind down the heads of the mounting screws for the attached washers that go in the T slot - but no real problem.
One suggestion: When setting up and the mounting plate is touching the saw blade (before setting the stop so it can't do so accidentally) set the pointer on the scale to the width of your saw blade rather than to zero.

This is an excellent piece of kit for the money. It is very heavy and feels secure in use. I put wooden backers on the faces to protect the workpiece, and also made a wooden shroud for the holdfast. I don't think you can find anything priced lower for the same quality.

Glenn Currie

A worthwhile purchase, solidly built, well designed and a time saving item. Had to do some minor work to get it to fit my table saw (startrite tilt arbor) mainly to do with the positioning of my mitre tracks. A heavy item, giving greater confidence that it will not launch itself back at you during cutting. What you see in the images here is what you will get, as well as two mitre bars and a range of allen keys supplied as well. Couldn't fault this item, price fantastic, you couldn't make it for the price i paid, only issue being delivery costs too N.Ireland.

value for money ,easy to use this is going to save lots of time .

Creates excellent tenons and make frame work so much quicker. Used to do it on a router table and took much longer to set up. Knocked a star off as the paint was chipped in 2 places.

The slider bar is a perfect match for my Jet cast iron saw bench. Very little side way movement due to the length of the bar. Take time to set up and check the angles with a gauge to be dead sure. Excellent buy.

R Chambers

This is by far the simplest way of cutting tenons I have found. The jig is very easy to set up and use and the cast iron construction gives it plenty of stability when cutting longer pieces. Arrived well packaged and with a good coating of oil.

Terry Smith

Very solid, well made tenoning jig. Needed a little bit of work to fit my Scheppach table saw but that simply entailed changing the existing slider bar for one that fit my table saw track. The resultant tenons are clean and accurate.
