FULL DESCRIPTION
Anvils have been around for centuries, yet they continue to be one of the most useful tools in the workshop. This anvil has been precision machined from grey cast iron castings to give a large flat working surface which is ideal for metal forming, riveting or general metal work. The surface features a 90° angle which you can use to shape your stock. The long tapering horn also provides varying radii when you need to bend your stock.

The size of the anvil should be proportional to the work and the hammer used to perform that work. This large 11kg anvil is perfectly sized for larger applications in the home or professional workshop. The anvil has been epoxy powder coated to ensure they are hard wearing and resistant to corrosion, the paint will not chip or scratch. There are four holes on the base of the anvil which allows permanent fixing to your workbench.

This anvil is cast and machined by the world's leading and largest anvil manufacturer, who have been established since 1950. The traditional shaped anvil will be at home in any woodworking or metalworking workshop. ©

I think it's a very useful object in the own workshop. How may times one has had the possibility to beat or shape some piece of iron or any metal and never find a right corner or place where to work with it. This little cast iron anvil can satisfy any purpose in such a case. In addition, we could build an appropriate solid wood base which the anvil can be screwed on so that to be clamped on the bench better when working.

Bought this for my workshop as I was impressed by the price, 11kgs of solid cast iron for £40! The top has been machined carefully and precisely and overall it is great value for money. Well packaged for such a heavy product.
