These bench and track hold down clamps feature a fast jaw clamping mechanism which allows them to be applied one handed within seconds with minimal adjustment being needed to alter their clamping capacity. Each clamp can be mounted onto a work bench using the supplied bench clamp plate or it can fit into 8.3mm T Tracks to allow a hold down clamp which slides across your work surface. Each clamp rotates a full 360° using a bolt as a pivot creating a fixed or mobile clamping workstation.

Constructed from steel forgings for strength and durability each clamp features an ergonomically designed handle to allow you to easily transfer the clamping force. There is a quick release lever within the handle meaning the clamp can be disengaged very quickly and smoothly. The arm of each clamp has a no mar swivelling shoe attached which allows irregular work to be clamped without being marked.

Each clamp has a 150mm throat depth and can clamp a variety of workpieces up to 127mm thick. Supplied with bench mounting plate and fixing screws. ©

Excellent Product

Just take an M10 bolt, cut the head off and cut an M8 thread on the other end.. The clamp uses a UNC thread for the hold-down but an M8 thread is near enough and you don’t have to use any Locktite to secure the bolt. A bit of tube which is clearance in the 20mm bench hole and adjusted to be just short of the bench thickness, keeps the bolt in the centre of the hole when in place but doesn’t take any load. This is held loosely captive by an M10 nut that will also pass through the bench hole.
When inserted in the bench hole , the slotted M10 washer can be slid under the nut and the nut hand tightened.
The clamp is in place!

Fine Clamping Adjustment

I agree with the last review that the swivel feature is excellent and you can position the clamp just where you need it. I also like the adjustment screw which allows you to fine tune the clamping pressure. This is very useful when working on soft woods that you want to clamp but not indent.

Very pleased with the quality of these clamps. The mounting plates are simple to install either using a chisel or a router bit. I have installed all 4 mounting plates on my workbench and they are now my go to method of clamping. Excellent price for the quality.
