Strong and powerful, there is little that can stand in the way of this splitting maul. Hand forged from German carbon steel, this maul has an aggressively angled wedge shaped head that cuts into the wood and splits the fibres apart in one movement. The bit and the head are kept deliberately narrow ensuring the force from each swing impacts as small an area as possible giving the maximum power delivery. In layman's terms, this maul is designed to be both quick and very efficient at splitting regardless of whether you're working on a large log or even a tree trunk. The carbon steel head features a hardened poll for driving in splitting wedges and is mounted on a 900mm solid ash handle. Weight 3400g. Made in Germany. ©
