• Converts in seconds from suction to blow mode for cleaning down the work bench
• In built safety float cuts off the power when the drum is full when wet vacuuming
• Weighs only 7.5kg to allow for ease of carrying on site and upstairs
• Over 7 metres of reach from the socket to the end of the suction hose
• Comes complete with a selection of hoses and nozzles
This wet and dry vacuum cleaner is a powerful all round vacuum for use in the workshop, home or on site. It features an easy to clean stainless steel tank that is ribbed for strength and has a large 20 litre capacity for the collection of coarse and fine dust and shavings, wet and dry dirt, and liquids.
The 1000 watt motor allows for a high level of suction power and by fitting the hose into a secondary port on the head of the machine you can convert the vacuum in to a blower for cleaning and removing dirt and dust for hard to reach or inaccessible areas. Running on four smooth running and rotating castors the vacuum is very well balanced and does not topple over when moving around rooms.
For dry vacuuming of dust, shavings and general household dirt you insert the supplied paper collection bag. This bag combined with the filtration system captures fine dust particles and prevents the majority of dust from re-entering the work place. When wet vacuuming you use the supplied water resistant filter which protects the motor, and the built in float switch automatically stops the suction when the maximum level is reached.
Weighing only 7.5kg this vacuum can be carried around with ease using the integrated top carry handle. The 36mm flexi suction hose combined with the two piece plastic suction pipe gives a reach of over 9 feet in length. Add this length to the 5 metres of electric cable and you can easily vacuum large rooms or workshops without having to change sockets or use extension leads.
This is the first time I have used Rutlands and I must say I am well impressed with the product also the speed in which it arrived, ordered yesterday in use by 10 30 this morning , really can't beat that. Well done Rutlands will definitely be use this company again

This is a great little cleaner, and is especially suitable for a small workshop. It has excellent suction, and a good range of tools for getting into all those places where dust collects. And for £29.95, it certainly represents good value for money.

Price is fair for the quality standard of the attachments.
Carpet cleaning risky, as brush bristles are too stiff, the plastic extension tubes and handle flex, when push action used.Real risk of plastic breaking.
Its noisy, but powerful for all essential quick clean tasks.
Delivery service very good.

Bought this W & D vac in preparation of remodelling my staircase with oak and knew I would have a lot of sawdust and mess. Does what it says on the tin. Wife likes it as it is light to carry upstairs, lighter than the Dyson. Hose is long as is the power cable. Eension tube and attachments fit firmly but the carpet and floor attacment is not very good. OK for solid wood floor but not for carpet. So saying when Rutlands get them in again I will order another for the workshop. Just ordered a couple of packs of paper dust bags.
great vac very powerful nice long cord and as usual very fast delivery many thanks

The price of just under £30.00 makes this a very good buy.
I already have a similar Mercedes cleaner in my workshop that I can connect to my power tools and it is is very powerful but I thought that the wet suction and the blow features of this cleaner are worthwhile and that I would use this cleaner in my workshop and use the other in my garage. When I got this cleaner home (I collected it from Bakewell) I realised that I would have to replace all the adaptors as the hose is a smaller diameter to the other one.
There are a couple of stowage points on either side of the top for the nozzle and brush. The extension tubes are stowed separately. It is a pity that a system for coiling the flex is not built in to the top but that was quickly remedied by the addition of a Velcro strap through the handle which tames both the flex and the tube.

Perfect for the workshop, simple, straightforward and amazing value. Not the most powerful vacuum,if you want power go spend £200.
I use it to low clear myworkbench at the end of day then suck up all the rubbish in minutes. Possibly my best bargain ever.

Like all of us our workshops fill up with shavings and sawdust, so an efficient vacuum cleaner is essential piece of kit that we all need. This one is great for the job and at its current price, great value too! Highly recommend it.

We are renovating our cottage and looked at Henry cleaners. So glad we didn't buy one (expensive and rather unwieldy to use) and instead waited to find this one (much cheaper and pleasant to use). It looks smart, the handle feels comfortable, and it glides freely on its wheels. I like the simplicity of the interior where the bag and filter fit easily. it doesn't come with a brush attachment (presumably to keep cost down) but it works well with bits from other cleaners.

This is an excellent bit of kit . I have it connected to my thicknesser via a two inch hose and it works perfectly, plenty of suction and not too noisy . S Knowles

Received mine yesterday, used it to clean up my workshop, amazing quality, very sturdy and solid construction, the hose is very flexible and yet seems very strong. Vacuum itself is very light and not to noisy. Lengthy power cable means i can pretty much have it where ever i need it. and decent power for what i need it for, will most likely be buying the extra 20 Litre Drum at a later date

Bought this for two reasons: firstly as dust extractor for my hand power tools in my workshop and secondly for removing pesky duckweed from the top of our wildlife pond. It works perfectly on both counts. Excellent Rutlands next-day delivery as usual. Extremely good value at £39.95 and probably fairly priced at £89.95.

Ordered at 4.30pm yesterday and the delivery arrived at 9.20am this morning. First impressions are excellent. Motor is not over noisy and the hose is really flexible yet feels very strong. Measured the cable and mine is nearly 6 metres long.I have bought it purely for my garage to clean out the car. Nice and light. Instruction manual is what you expect from China.

Well worth the money.
I bought a stepped adaptor from Rutlands and have connected the 36mm hose to the 2 1/2" port on my router table fence. It is now dedicated to the router table so I am not wasting time connecting hose fittings every time I need to use the router - which is quite a lot.

We have a couple of Clearview wood burning stoves and we use this vacuum solely for cleaning the stoves. This way we do not blacken the nozzle and hose of our Dyson and transfer the dirt to our carpet. As others say performs very well and we would definitely recommend.

My husband kindly bought me this vacuum cleaner as he ruins mine cleaning his workshop. It's great for cleaning the stairs as its so light and yet very powerful. Nice and compact and fits under the stairs easily unlike my old upright. The electric cable is also very long so i don't have to keep on bending down to unplug.

Looks good, got great suction power, nice and light and a really long cable and hose. Don't know how they can make it and sell it for this price. Fantastic buy.

I have now bought 2 of these extractors. One is hooked up to my Trend router table and the other i use with my Metabo random orbital sander and my Festool saw. It was nearly as cheap to buy this extractor than the Metabo collection bag for the sander. Works really well and the noise level is fine. Brilliant value for money and surprisingly well made.
