• Measures 150mm x 60mm
• Long lasting high quality diamond surface plate

This is consistently our most popular diamond sharpening stone. Supplied in a tray holder with non-slip rubber feet, this diamond stone is double sided with 360 grit surface on one face and a 600 grit surface on the opposite face. The 360 grit course diamond face is used to repair damaged, chipped or very blunt blades and knives. You simply move the blade back and forth over the diamond stone at an angle of 10 - 30 degrees using light pressure until the blade regains its shape and creates an edge. Then rotate the diamond stone and use the 600 grit to remove any burrs that result from the re-edging process. Using gentle pressure finally hone the blade to a razor sharp finish. Measuring 150mm long by 60mm wide this diamond stone is ideal for sharpening and honing kitchen knives, hunting and pen knives, wood chisels and plane blades and is highly recommended for both the home or workshop. It is favoured by chefs for sharpening Japanese laminated kitchen knives.

Knife Blade Guide - DK7094...

• Create mirror finish razor sharp edges every time
• Ensures a consistent angle on the blade edge
• Allows for two handed control of the knife when sharpening
• Designed for sharpening and honing kitchen knives, hunting and pen knives

Used in conjunction with a diamond, water or oil stone this knife sharpening guide seats the knife at the correct angle to create a mirror finish, razor sharp edge. It is widely recognised that the best way to fully sharpen and hone a kitchen knife is with either a water or diamond sharpening stone. Unfortunately, free hand sharpening in this way can lead to an inconsistent finish across the bevel which can result in a poor cut when using the knife.

Specially designed for use with knives, this honing guide is easy to use and gives the same result time and time again for reliable, consistent sharpening. This guide simply clips on to the back of the blade and raising it slightly which, in turn, presents the cutting edge at an angle to the sharpening stone. The knife can then be sharpened in full confidence that the knife is being honed to the correct cutting angle. For use with any length of blade, this honing guide can be repositioned along the blade and is designed to travel over the surface of the sharpening stone without causing damage. This is a simple yet excellent guide for creating a mirror finish edge on any kitchen, hunting or pen knife.

I now have two of these sharpening stones. So simple and easy to use they give a beautiful cutting edge. I always like to have one at hand, so one in the workshop and one in the tool box. Blunt tools are dangerous tools, now mine are always sharp.

A good quality stone. Gave a very good and sharp finish to some kitchen knives and chisels that were long overdue sharpening. Also like how it is supplied in it's own holder... makes the job even easier!
